Communications

Communications, in the form of intercoms, hard of hearing loops and a variety of assistance call systems have been very useful for our customers over the years and have expanded to meet the requirements of new legislation, such as the Disability Discrimination Act.

From the simplest point-to-point intercom to extensive door entry systems for apartment blocks, PEL provides solutions for any environment to give convenient communication and controlled access.
Simple yet effective assistance call designed primarily for nurse call and warden call but also useful in a variety of other environments such as changing rooms and disabled WCs. Systems comprise a variety of call points, pull cords, over-door lights and sounders.
A BS 5839: Part 9 compliant intercom system specifically designed to communicate with disabled persons at designated refuge areas within buildings of more than one floor. Options include telephone style handsets or hands-free operation, with master panels to cater for small systems to large configurations for multi storey buildings.
PEL supply systems for all situations where the hard of hearing need help, including ticket counters, cashier positions, conference facilities and places of worship. Systems may be stand-alone or part of a venue sound system, providing an enhanced experience for those with impaired hearing.
